The Home Performance Stakeholder Council (HPSC) Annual Contractor Forum was held last Thursday, May 2nd, in Surrey, B.C., which included a panel addressing sustainability and engagement with First Nation communities.
Our president, Curt Thomas, was asked to speak at the event. He brought his unique experiences as an Indigenous mechanical contractor specializing in Indigenous-led real estate projects, adding a fresh and inspiring perspective to the discussion.
Warrior Plumbing, an award-winning Indigenous plumbing and gas fitting company, is deeply committed to working with local Indigenous communities and their developer partners. Our focus is on building sustainable residential projects on Indigenous land and providing employment and training opportunities for Indigenous Youth.
We were honoured to be amongst great company on the HPSC panel:
Danny Tourville of La:Lem Building Inspection & Consulting
Darell Gaddie of Fraser Basin Council
Facilitated by Patricia Bell of Community Energy Association
It was a fantastic event! A big thank you to HPSC for inviting us to participate in the Indigenous and broader Vancouver contractor communities coming together to learn and develop relationships that contribute to the health and growth of our local real estate industry.
